Itinerary
On arrival at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport, (413 Ft / 126 Mts.) you will meet by our local representative who will assist you to board your vehicle to Darjeeling, is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks. Overnight at Hotel. DARJEELING
Early morning at around 0400am - 0430 am (subject to clear weather) for visit to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts) to view the sunrise over mighty Kanchendzonga Peak (Third highest peak in the world). On the way back & visit Batasia Loop.
After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of local Darjeeling covering Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday, Local Festival and State & National Govt. holidays) and Panoramic tour of Tea Estate. After visit back to the hotel. Overnight stay at DARJEELING
After breakfast drop at NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport for return journey.
